The University of Delaware's Coastal Communities Enhancement Initiative (CCEI) invites you to a public workshop on Thursday, June 28th, to present an overview of growth issues in Sussex communities including a discussion of different tools for and approaches to coping with growth. The free workshop titled, "Sussex Communities: Growing Better" (PDF link), will start at 8:00 a.m. at the Ann V. and Elbert N. Carvel Research and Education Center, on Route 9 west of Georgetown. It will include a lunch.
Speakers will include award-winning journalist Thomas Hylton, author of Save Our Lands, Save Our Towns. A group of University of Delaware officials will discuss the Coastal Communities Enhancement Initiative. Technical and planning experts will present a GIS-enhanced overview of "Growth Scenarios for Sussex Communities."

Join SCAOR in cleaning out those old files in your desk and file drawers. Thursday, June 28th, bring your old papers to SCAOR between 9 am - Noon. For a donation of a $5 Sam's Club or Food Lion gift card, or a 5 lb bag of onions or potatoes, you can safely and securely dispose of confidential and sensitive information. Your donation must be brought with you to the shredding event.
Note: The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACT Act) requires when consumer information and confidential reports are disposed of, that they be disposed of properly.
Items donated will be given to Jusst Sooup Ministries... serving Georgetown, Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Greenwood.

To be on the SAFE SIDE, please review the rules each week to eliminate errors in the system which could lead to MLS violations and fines. These rules and regulations have been submitted and reviewed by NAR and are in full compliance with National Association policy.
CANCELLATION OF HEARING REQUEST
The Participant who requested the MLS Hearing may cancel the request. The request must be in writing and received via mail or fax by noon of the business day preceding the hearing date. The Participant forever waives the right to contest the fine, which was the subject of the hearing.

Photos are NOT required in the MLS. If a photo is included, it does NOT have to be of the front of the home. It may be of the exterior, interior, view, etc. However, it is mandatory that the photo be of the actual property. The view must be the actual view, the interior must be of that home's interior, and so on. REALTOR® signs should never be seen in any photo in the MLS.
