COMPLIANCE DO'S AND DON'T'S
If you use the police icon to send an email concerning a listing, please remember:
If you receive a compliance email, please remember:
- To verify the listing is in fact correct. Do not just ignore the email.
- To correct any erroneous information brought to your attention; failure to do so is usually a fineable offense.
- If you are confused as to the problem, contact TracyLee at the SCAOR office.
- It is NOT possible to reply to the original email.
The police icon was established as a way to ensure that the content of the MLS is as accurate and timely as possible. Please use it as it was intended so that the MLS will be even better for all REALTORS® utilizing the listings.
SCAOR wants YOU... to serve on a committee, that is! What are your interests? There's a committee to suit you. Contact Barbara@scaor.com for additional information on any of the following committees: Grievance, Education, RPAC fundraising, Diversity, By-laws, Government Affairs, and Community Service. The best way to know what is going on is to be involved.
Join SCAOR, elected officials and local agencies at Possum Point Players on November 6 from 2 - 4 pm for an informational discussion on the housing needs in Sussex County. At this Housing Summit, you can learn about assistance for first time homebuyers, foreclosures in the current market, and predatory lending.
Please register to attend this FREE, informative event. A separate evening presentation is being provided for first time homebuyers, with special emphasis on the immigrant population. If you are interested in volunteering for the evening presentation, please sign up.
ARE YOU ARTISTIC OR PUBLIC RELATIONS ORIENTED?
If you are creative visually, or love the written word, contact TracyLee or Ruth to join the PR/Advertising P.A.G. We welcome new members with fresh ideas and input to get the word out about REALTORS® and all the great work they do to help home buyers and sellers. Email either TracyLee@scaor.com or Ruth@scaor.com. Or call (302) 855-2300.
Be Outstanding in Your Field
When you get a call to go out on a listing, do you ever ask yourself, "am I the best agent for this house?" If your answer isn't "YES," then you should either give the listing to someone who is more qualified, or make a decision right then and there to become the expert in your field.
So how do you do that?
