This week's topic is Do You Blog?.

If your office has spare SentriLock lockboxes, and you have more than 5 not in use, please email or call TracyLee at the Association. We have a severe shortage of lockboxes due to the high number of active listings, and need every available lockbox to be in use. Also, if you have broken lockboxes, they also need to be turned in to the SCAOR office, so they may be sent for repair.

Call TracyLee at (302) 855-2300 or tracylee@scaor.com.

ETHICALLY SPEAKING...

What did you think about the property manager's actions in last week's At A Glance and what s/he was required to disclose to the property owner? Below is the Hearing Panel's decision.

Case #6-2: Manager's Use of Client's Property for Vending Machines

It was the conclusion of the Hearing Panel that, whether or not the presence of the machines was a service for the tenants, the giving of authority for their installation was in effect a rental of the space they occupied; and that, in the absence of any disclosure to the owner, REALTOR® A was in violation of Article 6 of the Code of Ethics.

INTERESTED IN GRI 100?
Coastal Association of REALTORS® will sponsor GRI 100 series, if we can get at least 30 good people interested. Please contact Cindy at CAR. Email cindyc@coastalassociationofrealtors.org with your name and contact information and let her know you will attend.
