How do you think the Professional Standards Panel ruled in last week's Case Study? Below is the Hearing Panel's decision. Case #12-1: Absence of Name on Sign The Hearing Panel determined that the sign was an advertisement within the meaning of Article 12; that its use violated that Article of the Code; and that both REALTOR® A and REALTOR-Associate® B were in violation of Article 12. Please take a few minutes to read Article 12 of the Code of Ethics. Per Standard of Practice 12-5, the advertising of "listed property in any media (e.g., electronically, print, radio, television, etc)" must all abide by legal and Code of Ethics standards. ![]()
