New firmware is available for your lockbox(s) that will improve the 1-Day Code functionality and also eliminate a random problem that was causing premature battery depletion.

With this new firmware, you will be able to issue a 1-Day Code for a specified period of time. The code can be limited to any amount of time from 15 minutes to 24 hours, depending on your preference. For example, you could issue a 1-Day Code for a specified 3 hour timeframe.

Upgrading Your Lockboxes

The upgrade process requires a specific routine to be performed on each lockbox. You should consider a plan on how to upgrade your boxes. You may decide to perform the upgrade as lockboxes are returned to the office or each agent may decide to visit their assigned boxes and perform the upgrade in the field.

Start by logging on to www.lockbox.sentrilock.com and using the reports feature to print a list of your assigned lockboxes. As you upgrade the firmware on each box, make a notation on the report so that you will have a record as to which boxes remain to be upgraded.

Follow the directions contained in the Lockbox Firmware Upgrade Instructions to complete this upgrade project.
