Assigning and Reassigning a Lockbox using the F2 Function

The most accurate way to assign a lockbox to a property is by using the F2 function. By doing this, you will ensure the most accurate Internet tracking of showing activity. If you temporarily remove the lockbox from a listing and later re-install the lockbox on the same listing, be sure to repeat the F2 function. This is necessary to cause the Internet tracking to remain continuous and accurate.

It is important to update your SentriCard® after performing the F2 function.

To initially assign a lockbox to a property or to re-install the lockbox if it has been temporarily removed, use the following procedure:

  1. Insert your SentriCard® into the lockbox. Enter your PIN and press ENT.

  2. You can use one of the following commands to initially assign or re-assign a lockbox to a listing:

    • FUNC + 2 + MLS Number + ENT
    • FUNC + 2 + Numeric portion of the listing's address + ENT

  3. If you make a mistake while entering the MLS number or street address, remove your SentriCard® from the lockbox and repeat these instructions.

The most accurate method is to use the MLS number when using the F2 function.
The following example describes the F2 function using a property address:

Address is 282 S. Main Street: enter FUNC + 2 + 282 + ENT to assign the lockbox.
