Dear Participant:
It is difficult to believe that our Sentri-Lock program has been in effect for over a year. Hopefully, you will agree that this program has been and continues to be a successful benefit for you and your office. The program is successful because you and your subscribers adhere to the policies and rules to make it effective and valuable.
At this time, we need to remind you of your agreement with the SCAOR MLS regarding the Sentri-Lock Box program. You agreed to: "require all real estate licensees associated with your office to possess Smart Cards for access to the SCAOR Lockbox System and you agreed to require that each active real estate listing taken by it will have an electronic Lockbox supplied by the SCAOR Lockbox System, provided the property's seller has consented to the presence of the LockBox." Therefore, if you are participating in our Sentri-Lock Box program, you should not use any other combo lock box on the listing.
Our Sentri-Lock Box warranty period has expired; therefore, we are reminding you of the potential impact if the following occurs: "misuse or abuse of the hardware, any attempt to open, dismantle, or repair (except for battery replacement) the Sentri-Lock Box." If you or your subscriber mistreat or damage the box you will be responsible for payment of $30.00 diagnostic and handling fee, a pro-rate share of shipping and handling fees and insurance. If the Sentri-Lock box must be replaced, you will be responsible for the replacement cost and related shipping charges for the Sentri-Lock Box. The SCAOR office will administer the process and handle the details for you and you will pay any costs incurred.
The Sentri-Lock Boxes are an asset and investment for the Association. We appreciate your continued support and care of the devices.
