Branding

Personal branding is an invaluable tool that if used correctly, holds unlimited potential for real estate agents. So what is branding? It's a system of setting yourself apart from the rest of the REALTORS®. If you use branding correctly, you can create the perception in the mind of the consumer that you are the only agent who can and will sell their homes.

Branding is developing a consistent picture of "who you are." It is not something that you can do overnight; it is a slow process. The important factors are consistency and repetitiveness. You build an image! It will take commitment. It is much more than a picture and a slogan. Branding represents a promise on your part to your customers and clients.

Here are some tips for successful branding:

  1. Make your branding reflect your personality.
  2. Present it in such a way that it won't be forgotten.
  3. Be friendly and pleasing.
  4. Create a slogan or logo.
  5. Be consistent.
  6. Pick a color scheme and layout. Use it on everything - emails, flyers, ads.
  7. Select a brand that fits your target market.

Branding is a powerful tool. The more you promote it, the harder it works for you.
